We buy from Indian shops, have things stitched to your measurements where that's needed, and ship the finished garment.

Made to measure
Anything that needs stitching — a blouse, a nauwari, an anarkali, a lehenga — we can have made rather than bought off the rack. This is the part that genuinely can't be replicated by ordering online.
What we need from you:
- Measurements. We'll send the exact list for the garment. Measure over a well-fitting existing piece rather than over the body if you're unsure — it's more reliable at a distance.
- A photograph of what you want, if you have one. A picture of something similar tells a tailor more than a paragraph does.
- The date you need it. This one matters most.
How fit is handled from a distance
Honestly: made-to-measure at eight thousand miles is not the same as standing in the shop. What we do about that —
- Photographs of the finished garment before it's packed.
- Where a shop offers it, a little extra seam allowance so a local tailor can take it in — far easier than letting it out.
- If something has to be exact, we'll say so before you commit rather than after.
Fabric and weight
Clothes are the best thing to ship from India — light for their value, hard to damage. A heavily worked lehenga is an exception and can be surprisingly heavy, so we'll price the freight before you decide. How shipping is priced →
